Education beyond borders: The story of YSU student Roza Mkoyan Roza Mkoyan, a 4rth-year student in the "English, French, and Communication" bachelor's program at YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication, has been interested in literature and languages since her school years. Marketing, discourse, and innovation: Two-day symposium kicks off at YSU The symposium titled "Marketing Communication and Business Discourse: Perspectives and Challenges" has commenced at ISTC Hall, Yerevan State University. The event has brought together leading experts, scholars, and students in the field of marketing communication, along with representatives from the business sector, with the aim of exchanging theoretical knowledge, experience, and innovative approaches.
YSU researcher studies the impact of conflicts on relations between South Caucasus and Middle East Political instability and conflicts have a direct impact on the shaping and development of political, economic, and other relations between the Middle East and the South Caucasus. This is noted by Mushegh Ghahriyan, the head of the research group on Armenia-Arab countries and Armenia-Israel relations at YSU Institute of Armenian Studies. His scientific project titled "The Impact of Conflicts on the Relations between the States of the South Caucasus and the Middle East" has received funding through the "Young Researchers Support Program-2025" competition, announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
YSU students explore new horizons in Iranian studies during visit to Ahvaz As part of the collaboration between Yerevan State University and Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in the Islamic Republic of Iran, students from the Chair of Iranian Studies at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies—comprising third and fourth-year bachelor’s students, as well as first-year master’s students—had the opportunity to participate in the two-week "Improvement of Persian Language Skills" program.

Impact of displacement and integration into university life: Research findings summarized The resolution of the economic and psychological challenges faced by students displaced from Artsakh and continuing their studies in Armenian higher education institutions, as well as adapting to a new environment, has been a priority for YSU researchers. To collect data on various issues, analyze them, and provide recommendations, YSU conducted a scientific study on the topic "Economic and Psychological Adaptation Challenges of Students Displaced from Artsakh in Higher Education Institutions."
One educational program, two diplomas, and numerous opportunities Ensuring high-quality education and fostering innovation within the academic system are among the top priorities of YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication (FELC). Beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year, undergraduate and graduate students of the faculty will have an exceptional opportunity to enroll in a dual-diploma master’s program jointly implemented by YSU and the University of Lille (France). The program aims to prepare a new generation of professionals in international communication.
Social solidarity at the center of discussions among scholars from YSU and abroad From April 4-6, an international conference titled "Social Solidarity as a Foundation for State Consolidation" is being held in Tsaghkadzor. The conference is organized by YSU Research Laboratory of Applied Sociology and the Armenian Association of Social Workers. The event is dedicated to World Social Work Day, which carries the theme "Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Sustainable Well-Being."
